TRS Italian peeled plum tomatoes 400g are whole peeled plum tomatoes in tomato juice, 240g drained, produced in Italy from Italian tomatoes. Whole plums give a sweeter and less acidic sauce than chopped once broken up, because less of the flesh has been cut and cooked before it reaches the tin. Choose this tin when the sauce has time to simmer and you do not mind crushing the tomatoes yourself; choose the KTC chopped tomatoes when speed matters more than sweetness.

How to use it
- Crush by hand into the pan for a curry base, then cook until the oil separates
