PG Tips Original is the classic British black tea in a pyramid tea bag, blended from leaves grown in high altitude gardens near the equator. It brews a strong, full bodied cup with a bright colour that takes milk well. This listing is two boxes of 80 bags, 160 cups in all, enough for a busy household or an office kitchen.
How to brew it
Pour freshly boiled water over one bag in a mug and leave it for one to two minutes, longer if you like it builder's strength. Add milk and sugar to taste. For masala chai, simmer two bags in a pan with water, crushed cardamom, ginger and a little cinnamon, then add milk, bring it back to the boil and strain. Two bags in a litre jug of cold water left overnight in the fridge make a smooth iced tea.
