Colman's Original English Mustard is the hot yellow mustard made by Colman's of Norwich, mixed ready to use in a 100g jar. Mustard flour is a fifth of the jar, which is where the sharp heat that catches the back of the nose comes from, and turmeric gives it the bright colour. How to use it
Serve a small spoonful beside roast beef, gammon or sausages, and spread it thinly in a ham or cheese sandwich. A teaspoon stirred into gravy, a cheese sauce or a salad dressing sharpens all of them, and it is the usual mustard in a Welsh rarebit. Start with less than you think, since the heat builds.
