Ardo Cut Green Beans are tender green beans topped, tailed and cut into short lengths, then quick-frozen soon after harvest to keep their colour and bite. They are ready to cook straight from the bag, naturally low in fat and a source of fibre, and the 1kg bag goes a long way for family meals. How to use it
Cook from frozen in boiling water or a hot pan until tender, then drain and season. Stir-fry them with mustard seeds, curry leaves and grated coconut for a South Indian beans poriyal, add them to aloo beans sabzi, vegetable biryani or pulao, or toss them into stir-fries, soups and stews. Serve as a simple side with butter and black pepper.
