Batchelors Pasta 'n' Sauce Mac 'n' Cheese is short macaroni with a cheese sauce mix in the same packet, so a bowl of macaroni cheese takes one pan and five minutes. The sauce uses cheese powder and yogurt powder with a little onion and garlic, and it thickens as it stands. One pack serves one or two. Find more pasta for the cupboard in our Pasta range.
How to use it
Bring 250ml of water and 100ml of milk to the boil, with 10g of butter if you like, stir in the contents and simmer for five minutes, stirring now and then. It also cooks in the microwave in a large bowl in five to seven minutes. The pack suggests stirring in crispy bacon bits; grated cheese on top and a few minutes under the grill works too.
