Barilla Spaghettini No. 3 is a thinner spaghetti from Barilla's classic range, made from 100% Italian durum wheat semolina and water. The fine strands cook al dente in just 5 minutes and suit light sauces that would swamp a thicker pasta: garlic and olive oil, fresh tomato and basil, or clams and white wine. How to use it
Bring a large pan of well salted water to a rolling boil, lower the spaghettini in and stir as it softens so the strands do not stick, then cook for 5 minutes. Drain, keeping a little cooking water, and toss it in the pan with the sauce. For a quick supper, warm sliced garlic and chilli flakes in olive oil, toss in the pasta with a splash of the water and finish with parsley.
