Bang Bang Soy Sauce is a naturally brewed soy sauce made in Thailand from soybean, wheat and brine, with a little sugar and caramel for its deep colour. It is dark, salty and savoury, and it comes in a 200ml squeezy bottle with a pointed nozzle that lets you add it a few drops at a time. It is the base seasoning of Indo-Chinese cooking, from chilli chicken to Hakka noodles and fried rice. Find more sauces for the wok and the pan in our Cooking Sauces range.
How to use it
Twist the cap to open, peel off the film lid, screw the cap back on firmly and squeeze. Splash it into fried rice and noodles at the end of cooking, stir it into the sauce for gobi manchurian, chilli paneer or chilli chicken with garlic, green chilli and spring onion, or mix it with vinegar and chilli as a dip for momos and spring rolls. It is very salty, so taste before you add more salt.
