Charm

Charm is an air freshener brand, and its room fragrance comes in an aerosol can. The passion fruit and pink pepper scent mixes a sweet tropical note with the light warmth of pink peppercorns, and the label says it neutralises unpleasant odours.

Cooking smells hang on longest in winter, when windows stay shut. Hold the can upright and spray towards the middle of the room for a second or two; the fruit scent lasts without being heavy.
