Start shoppingCarex is the antibacterial hand wash many British families keep by the bathroom and kitchen sink. Made by Cussons, it comes in pump bottles from the original blue to aloe vera and creamy moisture.
Carex hand wash is a British pump bottle soap, labelled antibacterial and dermatologically tested. The original clear blue gel is the one most people recognise, and the range has grown into several scents and formulas, all with glycerin to stop hands feeling tight after frequent washing.
We stock Carex in skin care, part of our personal care and household department. The range here covers the Original, the green aloe vera bottle, the white creamy Moisture wash with vitamin E, and the pink Cherry on Top with a cherry and vanilla scent. Every bottle in the range is the same size, so a bathroom and kitchen pair look matched on the basin.
In a cooking household the kitchen sink sees more hand washing than the bathroom: before kneading roti dough, after handling raw chicken or fish, and after rubbing in chilli and garlic. A pump bottle there saves a soap bar from going soft in the wet. Choose Original for a clean, neutral scent, Moisture or aloe vera for hands that get washed all day, and Cherry on Top for children who need a reason to wash. Rub the lather over palms, backs, fingers and nails for around twenty seconds, then rinse under warm water.
Keep the bottles upright and away from direct sun. For soap bars and body washes, browse the rest of skin care, and for toothpaste and brushes, see oral care.
