Bold

Bold is a Procter & Gamble laundry brand sold in Britain for decades, known for combining detergent and softener in one product. The current range carries Lenor freshness and a built-in stain remover, and the lavender and camomile scent is one of its best known.

We keep Bold in laundry, part of our personal care and household department. The range covers biological pods, washing liquid and fast dissolving washing powder in everyday boxes, plus a giant professional pack of powder for guest houses, salons and large families who run the machine every day.

Pods are the simplest: one goes into the drum before the clothes, never in the drawer, and two are needed in hard water or for a very dirty load. Liquid suits cool washes and pre-treating a turmeric or ghee stain on a kurta or a school shirt; pour a little straight on, then wash as usual. Powder is the choice for hot washes of towels and bedding and for large households watching how far a box goes. All of them clean from 20C. As biological detergents, they are not for wool or silk.
