Bloo

Bloo is a toilet care brand known for its rim blocks. The Power Active design holds four small balls in a plastic cage that hooks over the rim; each flush runs water over the balls and carries foam and fragrance into the bowl, and the formula is made to slow limescale and stop dirt sticking between cleans.

We stock Bloo in household cleaning, part of our personal care and household department. The range comes in two scents, lemon and flower, as a single block or a twin pack for a house with two toilets or for keeping a spare in the cupboard.

To fit one, open the pack from the tab on the back, bend the hanger over the rim and sit the block where the water flows hardest, usually towards the back of the bowl. Replace it when the balls are used up. Lemon gives the sharper, cleaner smell many people like in a shared bathroom; flower is softer for a downstairs cloakroom. A block works between cleans and does not replace a scrub with the brush.

Wash your hands after fitting it and store spares high up, away from children and pets. For toilet tissue and kitchen rolls, see toilet rolls, and for sprays and plug-ins that freshen the rest of the house, browse candles and air fresheners.
