Elmlea Double 100% Plant is a plant based alternative to double cream made from a blend of lentil protein and coconut and rapeseed oils. It pours, cooks and whips just like dairy double cream, so it works in every recipe that calls for cream, from a silky curry sauce to whipped topping for a pavlova. It is suitable for vegans and free from gluten, milk and lactose, with no artificial flavours or preservatives. Find more creams in our Cream range.
How to use it
Pour it over fruit, puddings and crumbles straight from the pot. Stir into korma, butter chicken style sauces, soups and pasta at the end of cooking for richness, or use it in place of cream in kheer, custard and baking. To whip, chill well and whisk until soft peaks form, then pipe or spoon onto cakes, trifles and desserts. Keep refrigerated, use within 5 days of opening and do not freeze.

Lentil protein preparation (water, 1.1% lentil protein), 31% vegetable oils (coconut, rapeseed), sugar, modified corn starch, emulsifiers (sunflower lecithin, sugar esters of fatty acids, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), stabilizers (guar gum, locust bean gum), natural flavours, salt, colourant (beta-carotene).
