The 750ml bottle is the household size of Dettol Liquid, with a moulded handle on the side so it pours steadily into a bowl or a bath. It is a concentrated chloroxylenol antiseptic for cleansing minor wounds from cuts, bites, grazes and insect stings, and the bottle also gives dilutions for dandruff, for spots and pimples, and for personal hygiene when medically advised. How to use it
Always dilute. A wound takes one tablespoon in half a pint of water; a scalp rinse for dandruff takes one tablespoon in a pint of warm water, poured over and left ten minutes before shampooing. Keep it away from the eyes, ears, nose and mouth, do not use it on eczema or similar dry skin conditions, and do not use it around cats. Read the text on the bottle before use.

Ingredients & safety
Chloroxylenol 4.8% w/v as the active substance. Also contains pine oil (contains d-limonene and benzyl alcohol), isopropyl alcohol, caramel, water and caustic soda solution. Also contains castor oil, which may cause skin reactions.
