Diamond Foods Kothu Porotta in the small carton is the same chopped layered porotta as the catering bag, portioned for one pan of kothu at home. The pieces are cut small enough to take on masala quickly and keep a little chew in the middle. The carton holds 350g, which feeds two with egg and gravy. How to use it
Tip it in frozen. Heat oil in a wide pan, soften onion with green chilli, curry leaves and ginger, add your spice and a beaten egg, then add the porotta and toss on a high flame for two to three minutes. A microwave works if you only want it hot, three minutes on full power, though the pan is what gives you the browned edges.
