A thoranam is the string of mango leaves hung across a doorway for a festival or a pooja, and this is the keep it and reuse it version: embossed foil leaves in green, gold and red, strung on a cord and ready to pin up. How to use it
Hang it across the top of the front door, the kitchen doorway or the pooja room for Diwali, Pongal, Varalakshmi Vratham, a housewarming or a wedding at home. Pin or tape each end of the cord so the leaves hang level with a little slack in the middle. Wipe the foil with a dry cloth and fold it back into its sleeve afterwards.
