Domestos Thick Bleach Original is the dark blue bottle, the one most people picture when they say bleach: thick enough to hold on the slope under a toilet rim and strong on limescale as well as germs. The scent is the plain bleach smell with camphor and terpineol behind it, no fruit. The bottle holds 750ml and the cap is child resistant. Find more bleaches and disinfectants in our Household Cleaning range.
How to use it
Squeeze around 80ml under the toilet rim and give it 30 minutes. Down a kitchen or bathroom drain it clears the smell; in a sink, squirt into the plughole and the overflow, wait five minutes and rinse well. Diluted at 180ml per five litres it does floors and work surfaces, and 20ml per five litres soaks whites overnight.
Good to know
- 750ml with a child resistant cap
- Sodium hypochlorite at 4.5g per 100g
- Not for enamel, chrome or gold plated surfaces
- Danger: causes severe skin burns and eye damage; never mix with other products
