Dolmio Original is the jar most British households reach for on a weeknight: a smooth tomato sauce with onion, basil and garlic already in it, built to go into browned mince and come out as spaghetti bolognese twenty minutes later. How to use it
Brown 400g of mince in a dry pan for five to ten minutes, pour the jar in, stir and let it simmer five minutes more while the pasta cooks. Allow about 100g of dry spaghetti each. If you want it closer to a long cooked ragu, add a splash of milk and give it half an hour on a low heat instead.
