Cotton wick thread wound into balls, the long soft thread that is pulled off and twisted into wicks for a deepam or a brass oil lamp. One ball lasts a long time, since each wick takes only a short length. Find lamps, camphor and other items for the shrine in our Pooja Essentials range.
How to use it
Pull off a length of thread, fold it in half and roll it between the palms into a firm wick, leaving a tip to sit over the lip of the lamp. Soak the wick in the oil or ghee before lighting so it draws properly. Keep the balls dry and away from the lamp flame.
