Whole spinach leaves, cooked and canned in water, with 265g drained in each tin. The front of the can reads Leaf Spinach, and it is the smaller size of the same whole leaf line as our 765g tin: the right amount for a side dish or a palak for two, with no washing or wilting a mountain of fresh leaves.
How to use it
Drain and squeeze out a little of the water, then toss the leaves in hot oil with garlic, cumin and a dried red chilli for a quick palak. Stir them into a dal in its last five minutes, fold them through a potato sabzi for aloo palak, or warm them with butter and black pepper beside a roast.
