Fudco Crushed Chilli 600g is a large bag of dried red chilli flakes with their seeds, for busy home kitchens, batch cooks and anyone who makes their own chilli oil or pickle. How to use it
Use it in tarka for dal, in the onion base of karahi and keema, and in mince for seekh kebabs and shami kebabs. For chilli oil, pour hot oil over a few spoonfuls of flakes with garlic, sesame seeds and salt, then cool and jar it. It also goes into lime and mango pickles, marinades and pizza at the table. Decant a small jar for the spice box and keep the rest sealed in a cool cupboard.
