Elephant House Cream Soda is the clear, sweet vanilla soda that Sri Lankans grow up with, made under licence from Ceylon Cold Stores and bottled in the UK in a 1.5 litre bottle for the table. It is sweetened with sugar plus sucralose and stevia, with 4.8g of sugar per 100ml, and gives about six glasses to a bottle. Find more sparkling drinks in our Fizzy Drinks range.
How to use it
Serve well chilled over ice with short eats, rice and curry, or a plate of string hoppers. For an ice cream float, put a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a tall glass and top it up slowly with cream soda. Keep the bottle in the fridge once opened and finish it within three days.
