A 10kg sack of Araliya rosa kekulu for kitchens that go through rice fast. This unparboiled Sri Lankan grain is ready in under twenty minutes and turns soft without going to mush, which makes it a good match for fried rice the next day as well as a fresh pot with dinner. Our Sri Lankan Rice collection has the parboiled and red grains alongside it.
How to cook it
Rinse, then cook with roughly double the water in a covered pan or a rice cooker. For fried rice, spread the cooked rice on a tray and chill it overnight so the grains dry out and fry separately.
