Shana Wholemeal Chapatti is a soft, thin flatbread made with wheat and wholemeal flour, with the texture and puff of the phulka rotis served fresh from the tawa in Indian homes. Also known as roti, it is the everyday bread to serve with dal, sabzi and curry. Each pack holds 8 individually wrapped chapattis of about 40g, so you can take out just as many as you need. How to use it
Cook straight from frozen. Heat a non-stick pan until it reaches a medium heat; no oil or butter is needed. Remove a chapatti from its individual wrapping and place it in the pan for a couple of minutes until golden brown, turning it every 30 seconds and pressing gently so it cooks evenly. Brush with a little ghee if you like and serve warm with dal, rajma, aloo gobi or a bowl of chicken curry.
