Gullon Bizcochos Lady Fingers are light, airy Spanish sponge fingers with a crisp sugar topped crust, made with 30% pasteurised egg. They are the classic biscuit for tiramisu and trifle because they soak up coffee, liqueur or fruit juice quickly while still holding their shape. The 200g pack holds about 24 fingers in two 100g packs, so one can stay sealed until needed. Find more in our Sweet Biscuits range.
How to use it
For tiramisu, dip each finger briefly in strong cold coffee, layer in a dish with a mascarpone and egg cream, repeat, dust with cocoa and chill for at least 24 hours as the pack suggests. Use them to line a charlotte mould, layer into trifles with fruit and custard, or simply enjoy with tea, hot chocolate or a glass of milk. Close the pack after each use and keep cool and dry.
