Fudco Daria Dal is roasted split gram, the pale yellow chana halves known as daria, dalia or phutana in Gujarati and Punjabi homes. The roasting leaves them dry, crunchy and ready to eat straight from the pack, with a mild, nutty flavour and no soaking or cooking needed. Find more roasted chana in our Roasted Gram & Daria range.
How to use it
Grind a handful with fresh coconut, green chilli and a little salt for South Indian coconut chutney, or blitz it to a fine powder to thicken gravies and bind kebabs. Toss it into chevda and Bombay mix, or eat it by the handful with jaggery as a simple snack.
