Ferrero Couscous Medium in the 500g box is the same French durum wheat couscous as the larger pack, a medium grain that cooks in five minutes with boiling water and no stove time. The grains come out light and separate with a mild wheat flavour, a good base for spiced meat and vegetable stews, roast vegetables or a herby salad. Find more couscous in our Couscous range.
How to use it
Allow about 150g of couscous to 200ml of water per portion, as the pack shows. Pour one glass of couscous into a deep dish with one glass of boiling salted water, cover and leave for 5 minutes. Stir in a little butter or olive oil and fork the grains apart. Serve hot with a tagine or a vegetable stew, or let it cool and mix with chopped mint, parsley, lemon juice and diced vegetables.
