Ferrero Couscous Medium is French couscous made from 100% durum wheat semolina, the medium grain that sits between fine and coarse and suits most North African and everyday dishes. The grains are pre steamed, so they need only boiling water and five minutes under a lid. Fluffed with a fork and a knob of butter they turn light and separate, ready for a tagine, a spiced stew or a cold salad. Find more couscous in our Couscous range.
How to use it
The pack measure for one portion is 150g of couscous to 200ml of water. In a deep dish, pour one glass of couscous and one glass of boiling salted water, cover and leave for 5 minutes. Add a knob of butter and break up the grains with a fork. Serve under a lamb or chicken tagine, with roast vegetables and chickpeas, or cool it and toss with herbs, lemon, tomato and cucumber for a salad.
