Elephant House Necto is the bright red raspberry soda of Sri Lanka, made under licence from Ceylon Cold Stores and bottled in the UK in a 1.5 litre bottle for sharing. It tastes sweet and fruity in the way only a raspberry soda does, and it is sweetened with sugar plus sucralose and stevia, with 4.8g of sugar per 100ml, and gives about six glasses to a bottle. How to use it
Serve very cold over ice at a party table, with short eats such as rolls, cutlets and patties, or alongside a rice and curry lunch. Some families top a glass with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a pink float. Keep the bottle in the fridge once opened and finish it within three days.
