Ching's Secret Schezwan Instant Noodles are a single pack of quick cooking wheat noodles with a fiery Schezwan seasoning mix, the Desi Chinese answer to an evening snack. The seasoning brings chilli heat with a little sweetness and bits of dehydrated carrot, and the noodles are ready in 2 to 3 minutes. One 60g pack makes a bowl for one. How to use it
Bring about 250ml (1½ cups) of water to the boil, add the noodles and the seasoning mix and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring now and then until the water is mostly absorbed. Serve hot as a soupy bowl, or cook it drier and toss it in a pan with sweetcorn, capsicum, spring onion and a fried egg for Schezwan fried noodles. A squeeze of lime and chopped coriander lift it further.
