Chai Xpress Spiced Masala Tea is a traditional masala chai in 25 tea bags: blended black tea with ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, nutmeg and white pepper. That is the full spice box of a home made chai, ground and ready in the bag, so the cup comes out warm and peppery with a sweet cardamom and cinnamon finish. How to use it
Boil freshly drawn cold water and brew one bag for 3 to 5 minutes, then add a little milk and sugar if you like. For proper cutting chai, bring a cup of water and a cup of milk to the boil in a pan, drop in two bags with a spoon of sugar, simmer for three or four minutes until it turns a deep tan, then strain. Serve with rusks, khari or a plate of namkeen.
