Chai Xpress Red Bush is a rooibos tea spiced with cinnamon and aniseed, 40 tea bags in the box and naturally caffeine free. Red bush, or rooibos, comes from the needle-like leaves of a South African plant and brews a deep amber cup that is smooth and lightly sweet, with no bitterness. Cinnamon adds warmth and aniseed a soft liquorice note, so it drinks like a gentle spiced chai you can have late in the evening. Find more caffeine free teas in our Herbal Tea range.
How to use it
Boil freshly drawn cold water and brew one bag for 3 to 5 minutes. It takes milk well, so add a splash and a little sugar if you like it that way, or drink it black with a slice of orange. For a caffeine free chai, simmer two bags in milk with a crushed cardamom pod and sweeten to taste.
