Boost is a chocolate malt drink powder made in India by Hindustan Unilever, sold in a 500g jar with a screw cap. It is based on cereal extract from barley, wheat and millet, with malted barley, milk solids and cocoa powder, and it is fortified with vitamins and minerals including iron, calcium, zinc and vitamin D. How to use it
For a hot drink, stir 20g (about two to three spoons) into a cup of hot milk (200ml). For a cold drink, mix 20g into a little warm milk first so it dissolves, then top up with chilled milk. The pack recommends two serves a day. It also blends well into a banana milkshake or over ice for an iced malt drink.
