Balaji Two Slices Mix Vegetable Sandwich is a ready made grilled sandwich with a spiced filling of potato, carrot, cauliflower and green peas, seasoned with ginger, coriander, cumin, green chilli and a squeeze of lemon, between two slices of bread. It is made with no onion and no garlic, and the box comes with two chutneys to serve alongside: a spicy green chilli and peanut chutney and a sweet tomato chutney. How to use it
Defrost the sandwich in the microwave for 1 minute on high, or at room temperature for 30 to 40 minutes. Then either heat a pan, take the sandwich off its tray and cook it, flipping until golden brown, or grill it at 220 to 250°F for 3 to 4 minutes, depending on your grill. Serve hot with the chutneys. The chutneys should be melted before serving; do not microwave them. A quick lunch, after school snack or light supper.
