Frooto is PRAN’s mango drink, 25 per cent mango pulp in a 250ml bottle, thick enough to coat the glass and sweet in the way the mango drinks sold across South Asia are. It tastes of ripe mango with a little citrus lift, and the small bottle fits a lunchbox or a coat pocket.
How to serve it
Shake it well, since the pulp settles, and drink it cold. It is good with a plate of samosas or chaat, poured over crushed ice, or blended with yoghurt and cardamom into a quick mango lassi. Once opened, keep it in the fridge and finish it within five days.
