Mr King Barracuda Steak is barracuda, known as seela or sheela meen, caught at sea off India and cut into thick, bone in steaks before freezing. How to use it
The pack says to cook before eating and not to refreeze after thawing. Thaw the steaks in the fridge, rinse and marinate in chilli, turmeric, ginger, garlic and lime, then pan fry or grill until cooked through. They also suit a Kerala style fish curry with kokum or tamarind, or a Sri Lankan ambul thiyal.
