How to use it
Drain most of the liquid and fry the beans in a little oil or lard with onion, mashing as you go, for frijoles refritos to fill burritos, tacos and tortas. Left whole, they go into a chilli, a soup or a rice and beans. In an Indian kitchen they take a rajma style masala well, with the same soft texture as a kidney bean.
