KTC Kala Chana are brown chickpeas, cooked and ready, which turns kala chana from an overnight soak into something you can put on the table after work. Drain, rinse, and the KTC tin goes straight in the pan. They are firmer and earthier than white chickpeas, so they hold up in a sundal or a chaat.
How to use it
Kala chana hold their shape better than white chickpeas and taste nuttier, so they suit a dry masala or a pakora mix as well as a gravy.
