HQ Battered Chicken Nuggets are pieces of chicken breast in a golden, crispy batter, a family favourite for quick teas and lunch boxes. Chicken breast fillet makes up 57% of the recipe, coated in a lightly seasoned batter with white and black pepper. The nuggets are fully cooked before freezing, and the pack recommends cooking from frozen for the best result, in the air fryer, oven or deep fryer. How to use it
For best results, cook from frozen. Air fryer: preheat to 180°C, place the nuggets in the basket and cook for 12 to 14 minutes, shaking the basket once during cooking. Oven: preheat to 200°C fan, place the nuggets on a preheated baking tray and cook for 18 to 20 minutes, turning once. Deep fry: preheat oil to 180°C and fry for 7 to 8 minutes, then drain and serve. Serve with chips, beans or salad and a favourite dip.
