HQ American Style Chicken Breast Tenderloins are hand-cut strips of chicken breast in a light, golden breading inspired by classic American recipes. Chicken breast makes up 58% of the recipe, coated in a seasoned batter with paprika and capsicum extract for a gentle warmth and colour. The tenderloins are fully cooked before freezing and carry a halal mark, so they crisp up in minutes in the air fryer, oven or deep fryer, frozen in a 500g bag from HQ Food Products of Birmingham. How to use it
For best results, cook from frozen. Air fryer: pre-heat to 180°C, place the tenderloins in the basket and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket once. Oven: pre-heat to 200°C fan, place the tenderloins on a pre-heated baking tray and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, turning once. Deep fry: pre-heat oil to 180°C and fry for 4 to 5 minutes, then drain and serve. Serve with fries and coleslaw, a honey mustard or barbecue dip, or sliced into wraps and salads.
