Fudco Lime & Chilli Pickle puts lime and green chilli together in one jar, 40% lime and 20% green chilli, cut small and cooked down with salt, corn oil, crushed fenugreek, mustard seeds, red chilli and turmeric. The lime brings sourness and a bitter edge from the peel, and the green chilli adds a fresh, sharp heat on top. How to use it
Serve a small spoonful at the side of the plate with dal and rice, curd rice, khichdi or a plain paratha. It is salty and hot, so a little goes a long way. Stir a spoon into plain yoghurt for a quick raita, spread a thin layer inside a cheese sandwich or wrap, or serve it with poppadoms before a meal. Stir the jar well before serving, as the oil and spices settle.
