Fudco Hot Mixed Pickle brings together mango, lime, carrot and green chilli in one jar, cured with salt and corn oil and spiced with turmeric, red chilli, yellow mustard seed, fenugreek, ginger, asafoetida and gum berry (lasoda). Each spoonful mixes the sourness of mango and lime with the sweetness of carrot and the bite of fresh chilli. Find more combinations in our Mixed Pickle range.
How to use it
Stir the jar first so the masala and oil are evenly mixed, then serve a spoonful with dal and rice, parathas, puri bhaji or a vegetable thali. It works well with poppadoms before a curry, and a little chopped through potato salad or a cheese sandwich adds sharp heat. Use a clean, dry spoon, refrigerate once opened, and finish the jar within a month.
