Fudco Hot Mango & Lime Pickle combines diced raw mango, 42% of the jar, with lime at 23%, cured in salt and corn oil with fenugreek, mustard, red chilli, turmeric and asafoetida. The mango brings a firm, sour bite and the lime adds a bitter, citrus edge, so each spoonful tastes of both. It is hot, salty and suits anyone who finds a plain mango pickle too mild. How to use it
Spoon a little beside dal chawal, curd rice, parathas or a thali, or serve it with poppadoms before a curry. Stir a small amount into plain yoghurt for a tangy dip, or tuck a few pieces into a cheese and onion sandwich. Stir the jar before serving, use a clean, dry spoon, and keep it in the fridge once opened.
