Fudco Ginger Powder is ground dried ginger, called sunth or saunth in Hindi and sukku in Tamil. Drying gives it a sharper, warmer heat than fresh root, with a peppery bite that suits chai, sweets and winter dishes. Find more ground aromatics in our Ginger, Garlic & Onion Powder range.
How to use it
Add a pinch to the pan when brewing masala chai, or stir it into gond laddoo, panjiri and sonth chutney with tamarind and jaggery. It works in dry rubs, Kashmiri curries and baking where a recipe asks for ground ginger.
