Fudco Elachi Powder is ground cardamom, ready to spoon into a pan without cracking and crushing the pods by hand. Elaichi has a sweet, floral, slightly minty aroma that marks out Indian desserts and a good cup of masala chai. A little goes a long way, so a 75g pack lasts. How to use it
Stir a pinch into kheer, sheera, shrikhand, gajar halwa and laddoo mixtures near the end of cooking, or add it to the pan when you brew chai. It also lifts biryani rice and the syrup for gulab jamun.
