Elate Premium Basmati Rice is long grain basmati from Punjab, milled in Amritsar and packed in a 10kg sack with a rope handle for the household that cooks rice every day. How to use it
Allow about 60g of uncooked rice per person, roughly half a cup. Rinse the rice well and soak it in cold water for 30 minutes. Put it in a large pan with 2 measures of cold water to each measure of rice, bring to the boil, then turn the heat low, cover and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes until the water is absorbed. Leave the lid on for a few minutes off the heat before fluffing with a fork.
