Dr. Oetker Original Pudding Caramel is a cornflour pudding powder flavoured with caramelised sugar and a little low fat cocoa, coloured with beta carotene. One 40g sachet and half a litre of milk make about four bowls of smooth, set caramel pudding, the kind poured into a mould and turned out once cold. You add the sugar yourself, so the sweetness is in your hands. Find more dessert powders in our Pudding Mix range.
How to use it
Mix the sachet with 2 spoons of sugar and 4 spoons of milk taken from the 500ml. Bring the rest of the milk to the boil, take it off the heat and whisk in the mixture. Return it to a low heat and boil for about a minute, stirring gently until smooth and thick. Pour the hot pudding into moulds or bowls rinsed with cold water and leave it to cool and set. Serve plain, with fruit or with a spoon of cream.
