Del Monte Fruit Cocktail In Light Syrup is a mix of diced peaches, pears and pineapple with grapes and red cherries, packed in a light syrup in Greece. The fruit is soft and ready to eat straight from the can, with the classic look of a fruit cocktail: pale yellow pieces dotted with bright cherries. Each 420g can holds 250g of fruit once drained. How to use it
Chill the can, drain the fruit and serve it with cream, custard, jelly or vanilla ice cream. Spoon it over sponge cake for a quick trifle, fold it through fruit custard or falooda, or top a cheesecake or pancakes with it. A little of the syrup can sweeten a fruit punch. Once opened, move any leftovers into a covered bowl in the fridge and use them within 3 to 4 days.
