Daily Delight Aviyal Mix is a ready cut frozen vegetable mix for aviyal, the mixed vegetable dish in coconut and yoghurt that is a must on a Kerala sadya. The bag brings together yam, snake gourd, long beans, drumstick, cucumber, carrot, raw mango, green chilli and garlic, cut into the classic batons, so there is no peeling or chopping. How to use it
Take out the amount you need and thaw it in a bowl in the fridge overnight, or place it in a colander under cold running water for a quick thaw. Cook the vegetables with a little water, turmeric and salt until just tender, then fold in a coarse paste of grated coconut, cumin and green chilli with a spoonful of beaten yoghurt. Finish with coconut oil and curry leaves and serve with rice and sambar.
