Crown Meat Seekh Kebabs are charcoal grilled skewers of minced mutton and chicken, frozen in a 1kg bag of 15. The recipe is 45% minced mutton and 35% minced chicken, seasoned with onion, chickpea flour, ginger, garlic, fresh coriander and mint leaves and a blend of herbs and spices. The mutton gives a richer, deeper flavour, and the charcoal grilling adds a smoky finish. Already grilled, they heat through in minutes for wraps, rice plates and family gatherings. How to use it
Cook from frozen. In the pan, heat a little fat in a coated frying pan and fry the frozen kebabs at a high heat for approx. 3 to 5 minutes, turning several times, then drain on kitchen paper. In the microwave, heat the frozen kebabs in a microwave safe dish with a lid for approx. 1 to 2 minutes at 600 watts, then leave to cool for approx. 2 minutes at room temperature. Serve with naan, sliced onion, lemon and mint raita, or with pilau rice and salad.
