Crespo Pitted Black Olives are ripe black olives with the stones taken out, packed in a simple brine of water and salt in Spain. They are soft and mellow with a gentle saltiness, ready to slice straight from the jar onto pizza or into a salad. The jar holds 90g of olives once drained, a handy amount for a few meals. How to use it
Drain the olives and scatter them whole over a Greek salad, or slice them onto pizza, into pasta sauces, tuna salad and wraps. Chop them into tapenade with garlic, capers and olive oil, or add them to a tray of roast vegetables. The pack warns that mechanical pitting cannot remove every stone, so bite with care. Once opened, keep the olives in the fridge covered in their brine and eat them within a week.
